As information continues to emerge about the scope and impact of COVID-19, we have determined that it is in the best interest of our students, staff and community to cancel the Movie and a Mentor event on March 27, 2020. Future ticket sales on TicketLeap will be closed and anyone who purchased a ticket will be refunded as soon as possible. The health and safety of our school community is a responsibility that we take seriously, and we’d like to thank everyone who was interested in attending.
The Point Pleasant High School BE ON POINT Character Education Team is back again for our annual MOVIE AND A MENTOR event. This program is open to all elementary students in grades K-5. During this 3 hour event, students will play games and activities in the HS gym followed with a full screen surround sound viewing of THE LION KING in our HS auditorium.
The evening's theme is "A NIGHT WITH THE COACHES"! Don't miss the chance to work with Coaches Brady, Bruno, Casalino, Grainer, Kendall, O’Connor and Staub ... it's all about TEAMWORK. Students will be assigned a HS Buddy and be placed in small groups of their choosing. Teacher chaperones will be active throughout the entire night. Fun will be had, lessons will be learned and friends will be made! This event is an opportunity to bring together Nellie Bennett and Ocean Road students for this special night with the coaches and mentors of Point Pleasant High School. If you would like your child to only view the movie, please arrive at the auditorium doors at 7:00 PM.
